So apparently Big Ben is getting renamed in honor of The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee. 

But it’s going to be named Elizabeth Tower.

Except we all know that the BELL is actually called Big Ben, and the tower is just called ‘The Tower’. So really, the tower is FINALLY getting a name, but it’s not being changed from anything. Not really.
